Tokyo Tower, On A Rainy Night
It’s still rainy season in Tokyo, but that just means more opportunities to take beautiful pictures at night! Here’s Tokyo’s beloved orange replica of the Eiffel Tower, shining through the raindrops running down the window of my friend’s car…
If you’d like to see Tokyo Tower the next time You’re in Tokyo, a map is on my website, The Tokyo Guide I Wish I’d Had.

Writing mystery books set in Tokyo is mostly what I do, but I also blog about the odd stuff I see every day in Japan. I'm a graduate of Stanford University and the Sendagaya Japanese Institute in Tokyo, and a member of the International Thriller Writers, the Mystery Writers of America, and Sisters In Crime. When I'm not in Tokyo, I live in San Francisco. I also host a travel site called The Tokyo Guide I Wish I'd Had, so if you're headed to Japan and want to check out the places I take my friends when they're in town, take a look!
These are beautiful. 🙂
Thank you, Mary! (^O^☆♪ Tokyo Tower is weirdly photogenic – it’s hard to take a bad picture of it, whether it’s day or night, rain or shine!
Amazing Amazing Amazing – love these photos
Thank you so much! (*^_^*) I was just over at YOUR blog, and I couldn’t stop looking at the gorgeous place you write about!
