The Peeing Statue Vending Machine

This month, my favorite nude statue is putting the weenie in Halloween
This month, the best dressed nude statue in all of Tokyo gets busy putting the weenie in Halloween

It’s always hard to say goodbye to my favorite costumed peeing boy statue when I leave Tokyo, but now I don’t have to! Thanks to the awesome vending machine I discovered at Yodobashi Camera, I can take him home with me and develop a whole new level of procrastination skillz, crafting little costumes for him…

Even better, each design comes in bronze...
Can’t decide if I like the bronze ones…
...or marble
…or the marble ones better
Guess I'd better go back and get them all
Guess I’d better go back and get them all

But, um, not recommended as a cap decoration for lemon drinks…

This series may be sold out by the time you’re next in Tokyo, but there will be plenty more to take its place! If you’d like to discover the latest, greatest gachagacha, a guide to the best gachapon hunting spots in Tokyo is on my travel blog, The Tokyo Guide I Wish I’d Had. Happy hunting!

It’s the year 1784 and the shōgun rules with an iron fist . . . except within the walled pleasure quarter of Yoshiwara. Inside the Great Gate, samurai law does not apply, and it’s women who pull the strings

The Samurai’s Octopus…is a truly remarkable book, one that surprised and charmed me at every turn of the page. You’re in for a treat.”

  1. Good heavens, how do you find these things? If Yodobashi still has them, they’re what I’m sending everyone for Christmas this year!

    1. Damn, damn, I just went to check (and buy a few more myself) but that gachagacha machine is gone If I had time, I’d go out to Odaiba to the old-timey shop floor at Decks and see if they had them there, but I have to get on a plane tomorrow ( ; _ ; ) If you find more of them, buy a ton and let me know where you spotted them!

      1. Seems like too much work to go all the way to Odaiba for that. I’ll keep my eyes open. If I find some, I’ll buy lots and even share.
