This reminds me of a garden of nasturtium that I grew outside of our quarters in Germany . The plants grew to giant proportions.
At first glance, I thought they were lotus leaves (because Japan), then I saw the flowers! Of all the quilts at this show, I think this one is the one I’d most like to live with forever and ever ^_^
On first look, the details of the leaves sparkle like stars. The layers of leaves show themselves and then the flowers. The artist chooses subtlety over the flamboyance of brilliant masses of nasturtium blossoms. Thank you for sharing this beauty.
