I wish I could sell you the phone app that magically removes glasses glare from photos, but alas, the reason this girl’s aren’t lighting up like a full moon under the glaring subway lights is…they have no lenses.

I was walking down the street in Harajuku when I first spotted a girl wearing a pair of fake glasses, but I couldn’t quite believe it was a fashion trend until I saw that every other store on Takeshita-dori has a rack of black hornrims for sale. Go figure.

  1. So when will you be getting a pair? I see them every day and I just love them. I am slowly collecting a bunch of photos of these to post on my blog but it’s hard to catch them and get a decent shot at the same time.
