Ear Floss
In the Solution Looking For A Problem sweepstakes, this has gotta be a contender.
If your piercings are in desperate need of a roto-rootering, you can stock on up ear floss at (where else?) the Tokyu Hands in Ikebukuro. Directions & a map are on my website, The Tokyo Guide I Wish I’d Had.

Writing mystery books set in Tokyo is mostly what I do, but I also blog about the odd stuff I see every day in Japan. I'm a graduate of Stanford University and the Sendagaya Japanese Institute in Tokyo, and a member of the International Thriller Writers, the Mystery Writers of America, and Sisters In Crime. When I'm not in Tokyo, I live in San Francisco. I also host a travel site called The Tokyo Guide I Wish I'd Had, so if you're headed to Japan and want to check out the places I take my friends when they're in town, take a look!
Ear plaque, the silent killer. Or cause of ear gingivitis.
Ahahaha! But you bring up a good point: maybe that’s why some people have so many piercings: ear cavities!
rofl, actually, that’s just new packaging for an old product. I’ve been buying it for nearly 30 years- it’s also known as floss threader and EZ floss, and it’s used to clean between the teeth of permanently installed bridgework, and it’s helpful for teeth that are very close together too, lol
You know, I never considered the possibility this was a repurposing of an already existing product! (><) Thanks for the new POV!
What on earth! Usually majority of Japanese goods I say yea sure thats fine but this!!!! Weirdddd
Kinda wondering if they’ll come out with specialized ones for other body piercings…?!
