Plain pink gloss? So last millennium! Now you can sport lips with stars and more – I’ve seen this on more than one model in Japanese magazines! I thought I’d discovered the source at Tokyu Hands…
… but on closer inspection, I think the lips on these packages are the work of a master hair-make stylist. As tempting as it was to take these home, I had second thoughts about chancing the blue lizard lips look, just in case it turned out to be, er, rather more permanent than anticipated…

My thought pattern on these lipsticks went something like this:
“I wonder what would show up if you made out with someone with that. …or if leopard grandma kissed your cheek.”
“What if a guy was cheating on his main squeeze, but he accidentally comes home with gold or starry lipstick on his collar? The lady would not have a hard time figuring out who his mistress is….”
Yeah, beware of mistresses sporting leopard lips!

Try doing a search for “Patterned Lipstick”. Apparently it’s a thing like the nails you showed where you apply it from a card, and it looks like they have it in the UK too. I’ve never seen it in any US stores though (but we do have those sorts of nail patterns you can apply).
